The Global MICE Summit is a two day gathering of global investors, practitioners, academicians and regulators from the MICE industry to discuss opportunities, trends and going concerns within the MICE space.

The Summit will take place from the  29th-30th November 2018 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi.

Theme: Leveraging MICE For Economic Development.

The summit will focus on three major pillars:

• Economic Growth
• Technology

The summit will feature over speakers from both the private and public sectors of the economy, as well as relevant players within the MICE Industry. The summit is expected to attract over 300 delegates from over 25 countries across the world. The delegates will also have a chance to attend pre – scheduled B2B Meetings as well as Break – Away sessions within the three major pillars of Sustainability, Economic Growth and Technology. 10 % of the proceeds from the summit will be channeled towards an incubation centre for MICE Start – ups as well as viable SME Projects within the MICE Industry.

GMS Expo, let it read as follows: The Global MICE Summit Expo will bring together 100 Exhibitors from the MICE industry across the world, with a special focus on Africa. These exhibitors include: MICE Venues, Professional Conference Organisers, Technical Solutions Providers, Destination Management Companies, Tours and Travel Firms, Government Agencies, Hotels and other affiliated players.

In a bid to promote young start - ups, we will have an SME Village where young entreprenuers will be given the chance to showcase their innovative solutions. The Global MICE Summit Expo is expected to attract a footfall of over 2,500 participants across the two days. We will also have a Customer Experience Corner where potential clients will get the opportunity to experience the MICE Solutions being exhibited.
